Today is the day of the second most used drink in the world after water i.e ‘TEA’. International Tea Day is celebrated on May 21st every year because the season of tea production begins in the month of May in most of the tea producing countries. India is the Second Largest Producer of Tea in the world after the China, as it comes on the first place in the world.
Tea plantation requires meticulous care and efforts. That is the reason , to draw the attention of government and public towards the problems of the tea production and how tea plantations done by small tea growers, every year International Tea Day is observed.
